This purchase was not what I intended. I had previously purchased a Staples 26-Pocket Document File Legal Size and wished to purchase another one. Tru Red 26 Pocket Letter size was the only similar item on your shelf and I purchased it not realizing that it was only Letter size.

This file folder is okay but it definitely has issues! First the way the lid is attached makes it extremely difficult to keep open when you're trying to put papers inside. I actually had to lay it on down on a flat surface then hold up the top with one hand and try to place my papers inside with the other. It was very annoying! My second issue was the labels. While it's nice not to have pre-printed sections the labels provided to make your own don't stay in the slots very well. The desk where I keep my file folder requires me to stand it on it's side so a few of the labels fell out. There should maybe be one side of the slot that is solid so the labels won't fall out no matter how you store it. Overall it works and I wanted a plastic folder because the paper based ones seem to tear so easily and since I don't have to add papers to it every day the access design issue with the top won't be too bad in the long run. I wouldn't recommend it for everyday use but if you just want to store records that you don't access all the time then it will do the trick.

Office File System - Bad Pocket Design block the Tab Names

The Design of the individual pockets is flawed the bottom has a lip that papers get stuck on and then then are up so high they cover the label tabs. You have to really push your hand down into the pocket to get the papers to go in all the way. It's super frustrating.

Works Ok nice organizer. Too early to tell how it will hold up over time but the plastic inserts seem to be the weak link. To my disappointment there were no tab labels inside. Haven't had time to drive back to Staples to complain about it so wound up just making some on the computer. Open it up and check inside before purchasing.
