easy new way set & tighten legs by twisting to whatever length I needed. But if I hadn't read the directions I would never have gotten the easel to stand at a higher length. My prior ones had a push-in button to keep legs extended & standing. Most people won't read directions. Perhaps the vendor should apply a stickey tape to the legs stating "twist to tighten" legs to desired length.
