perferated towels

i recently purchased a 12-22 pack of towels and they are not perferated very good . i have to cut them apart most of the time. the entire pack is like this. i do however love bounty and use no other

Quality Control Gone WRONG

I've bought Bounty Paper Towel's numerous times, but when I put one of the rolls on the pt holder, and I got the the middle - all the towels were shredded and there were weird ink lines. I think the machine messed up the roll, but it ruined half the paper towels in the roll. I've never seen anything like it! Terrible quality control - it should have never been released! I have a picture if you'd like to see it. I tried to make contact instead of using this forum but there was no way to talk to a Bounty rep.

Plastic

Why have the individual rolls wrapped in plastic and then put them all into more plastic. No need for the inner rolls to be wrapped in plastic. In a world drowning in plastic this is not acceptable anymore. Also, why is the first sheet glued to the roll? Where is it going to go? It destroys one or two sheets trying to get it apart. The only point to this is using up product trying to get to the product. Eliminating these two things would save us all money and help the planet.

My Kitchen’s Best Friend!

I fully admit; I’m messy when it comes to cooking. VERY messy! For example, after cooking anything on the stove top, it ends up looking like a Jackson Pollack painting. The only paper towel that’s strong enough to handle this disaster it Bounty. Honestly, I’ve tried, but have yet to have it shred on me as I’m cleaning that mess up. In fact, holds up liquids better than a camel holds in water. It doesn’t even break a sweat at the Herculean task of cleaning off tomato sauce completely on ceramic. I gave it five stars because you didn’t give me the option of giving it more. Thank you!

Unhappy with perforated Bounty Towels.

Waste of money. I purchased 12 rolls Bounty paper towels select-a-size. The towels tear, but not at the perforation marks. I am very dissatisfied and unhappy. I have used Bounty for years, but am seriously considering changing brands due to the waste. It is very frustrating.

What's with the glue?????

I have used bounty towels for years and have always been very happy with them. As you get older time slips by quickly. I cannot tell you exactly when but I will guess about a year or so ago the glue at the start of the roll changed. It used to be just enough glue to hold the first sheet to keep it from unraveling. The first sheet would release with just a slight tug, no waste. Now there is a 3/4" strip of glue down the entire roll that penetrates the first 2 or 3 layers. By the time you are finished picking, tugging and scratching through this glue barrier you have lost 6 or eight towels. At this point I am ready to switch brands because of the struggle to start the roll and the waste. Until the glue situation is remedied I don't think I can recomend your product.

select a size

Your paper products are very good. However the reasoning for the select-a-size that you just adopted a short time ago is not in the best interests of the consumer. When you first went to the select-a-size the sections were just the right size.(You didn't waste so much paper towel) Now you have increased the size about an inch or a little more and therefore we waste more. I believe your purpose was to increase sales. Hopefully you will reconsider and go back to the original size.
