This paper is nice it prints my color pictures great. Just make sure you let the ink fully dry before touching or it could smudge but that could just be the printer/ink not related to the paper. I assume is a combination of both as the paper is glossy. Glossy is much nicer than Matte though.
I bought this paper to print my daughters birthday invitations. I was looking for something as thick as card stock but with a glossy finish. This was the heaviest paper I found on the shelf. The paper was not quite as thick as I wanted but the invitations turned out just fine since they were about half page size. Smaller invitation size makes it not as flimsy as the full sheet. My only complaint is that my printer (hp8600) could not pick up the sheet of paper from the feeder tray. I had to manually push it into the printer. Once I got that figured out everything else was fine.
My wife was working on printing our long awaited family photo shoot. She went to the local dept. store and bought their best Photo paper. It was awful kept jamming. So he tried a major retailer version of their best paper Nope just as bad. We finally paid less for it at Staples and had NO problem. Staples saved our Family Pictures.
I thought this paper would be great for my photos but its too thick and my copier couldn't grab the paper and print the pictures.Im using a thinner paper now.
