This product is thicker and stronger than other brands. I use it for packaging and also to mask prior mail labels when I reuse boxes. Other tapes the prior mail label shows through or you need to cover twice. This tape does it in one strip.

This is the worst tape I have ever bought and the worst item at Staples to my knowledge

Put this on a box and within hours it is unattached to one side or the other of the box. I used 1/8 of a roll and had 0% success with it. I threw it away because I knew I would get a song and dance about 14/30 days or whatever. It wasn't worth the time and effort and I doubt they would stop selling it. You have been warned. By something else from a brand name if you want the tape to stay on the box.

Not your father's paper tape

Paper packaging tape is used to seal seams of corrugated cartons and sometimes to occlude labels upon reuse of the carton. This doesn't work properly since the surface is plastic (coating?) so ink stamps contact adhesive labels and postal labels and stamps won't adhere. This is bad product design and labeling.

Just what I was looking for. A tan colored tape to back picture frames with. Wasn’t easy to find at several local stores but Staples had it. ☺️

Staples® Paper Packaging Tape

I use it for sealing boxes for storage of books. It is faster easier to use and cheaper (I think) than plastic. Not as strong but strong enough.
