NOT for registered mail

I needed to send out several registered packages. Didn't want to use USPS supplied paper tape because it needed to be wetted. This tape has a plasicized back and won't accept USPS seal stamps. Used USPS supplied paper tape that needs to be wetted. I'll use this along with the clear tape I used for regular mailings.

I finally got a tape that I can use for shipping. All others I have purchased were terrible. I packed my box and it was mailed. It really sticks too. This tape is strong too.

Not what I expected

I bought this because the post office requires paper tape to seal the edges of registered mail so they can stamp along the edges on the paper. I didn't realize until I opened the wrapping that this self adhesive paper tape is not a matte finish paper on top. It is glossy and thus can't be used for registered mail as the stamp would rub off. So it is paper in the sense that it can be ripped but not matte paper for stamping purposes. Good if you want self adhesive without the need to use water bad if you need it to be stamped. If you need it for registered mail buy the paper tape which requires wetting with water.

Easy to Use

I bought this product for sealing boxes to be shipped accross country. It was very easy to apply and attached to the boxes securely. The price was great and the product worth the price. Using the cutter was easy to use just lift and cut.
