The description says satisfaction guaranteed - so I am considering whether I have the time to drive back and return it. What a bummer that it didn't hold up better. In contrast the tape that I actually used seems to stick well but when the tape is coming off of the dispenser a piece will be going fine and then the paper seperates. So I had to pull it back off and restart the roll and start taping that spot again. I taped 8 sections and this happened three times - seems like that is not how this product is intended to work.

It just doesn't stick very well - whenever I use it I have to go over it with clear tape - A lousy product that they have been hawking for years hurry hurry - get you none sticky sticky tape!

This product is perfect for sealing Registered Mail that meets the United States Postal Service Requirements for mpreparing all Internationally Registered correspondence! It is the only product I have used in the last five to six years for International mailing! Buyers also find it to be a good sealer for purchases that need to be waterproofed against rain or other equatorial mailing zones that are moisture-prone. Shipping is a reflection not only of the delivery process but the packaging of the items as well!

Don't use for registered mail

This tape is good but I was slightly deceived. When you mail registered mail with USPS you need to use paper tape. There were two paper tape products and this one was plastic wrapped but looked identical to the more expensive larger roll. Paper tape is supposed to take in ink. When you mail via Registered mail that is a must. This tape DOES NOT do that. It is slipery and comes off when you rub it. Other than that the tape is strong and great for packaging and I would recommend it if you are doing a regular mailing.

I have to say I used to only buy 3M Scotch clear packing tape after having bad experiences with cheaper or house brands (especially with sticking together). However after getting a package delivered to me sealed with paper tape I suddenly realized I didn't need to use a plastic type. On my next shopping trip I found this Staples paper tape and am happy with the results. In fact it comes back off a bit more easily than clear tape allowing a little more flexibility in placement. I don't get waste (and frustration) due to sticking together. I had to adjust my cutting technique some and it shows wrinkles more but I don't mind and I feel good about using something hopefully more biodegradable and planet friendly.

Not so good.

I was hoping this would be a good product to use on envelopes for security boxes that needed extra strength and packages being mailed. I would only recommend this on storage boxes of light weight material.
