This is great as it sticks good to the box only wish I could write on it as when I address on top of the tape it smears.

I Really Wanted To Like This Product

I'm packing my apartment for a move and I thought this tape was a good value but unfortunately it's not strong enough and the tape actually starts to pull away from the box. I had to reinforce it with another brand of tape. It's really bad stuff. I just can't recommend it at all.

Indispensable!

What would we do without tape -- of all varieties and sizes? This wide paper tape in an all-purpose basic beige is a must for any home or office. From packages to mending of paper and other items this tap in its handy dispenser is really useful; it sticks exceptionally it tears off at the desired length it is a basic color it is not too thick or too thin and it's affordable. Use it to put things together organize all those computer cables as a label base for organizing and many other necessities.

Okay for some things

I like to use adhesive paper tape when I wrap packages in brown paper but my main purpose for this tape has been to secure brown paper backings (to keep out dust) on the backs of framed paintings. The tape sticks well to brown paper and wood. So far it has not lifted from either of those materials. The main disadvantage is that it does not stick well to itself (the brown kraft paper is slightly glossy and slick)and easily lifts off when overlapped. I discovered that when I used it for shipping a package. Stick to brown or clear plastic tape if you want to secure cardboard box seams.

i bought this for moving seemed like it should work but more than halfway through packing boxes i saw the tape begin to lift and this gave me great concern that the boxes would hold when there was heavy or fragile items...

I use it for packages. It covers unwanted box printed areas and matches box color. I use clear for labels and things I want to protect and see.
