Have used this tape for years to wrap items to be shipped. Holds well no mess easy to use. The best paper tape I have found!

The only store I could find this product

I used this to bind the rear of a piece of art to the nicer frame I wanted to put it into. It worked well. I went to several big box stores and was told this "paper bag" textured tape had not been available for about 10 years. Also went to a craft store and could not find this type of tape. Staples had it and it matched the other lining on the reverse of the piece of art. I bought it because it was just what I was looking for. It is self adhesive no licking or wetting to be done. It was ready to use easy to work with and just what I wanted to do the job needed. My only drawback was that it was pricey but filled the need as it should

Good Price Great Tape

Another good Staples "store brand". Based on price and quality this is as good; if not better than the other name brands of brown packing tape.

Doesn't stick to corrugated cartons

Bought this to tape up brand new moving cartons. Used the dispenser to apply tape to the bottoms of the cartons then pressed it into place by hand. Then we turned boxes over and filled them. When we picked up the full boxes the tape came loose. It just didn't stick. We had to send somebody out to buy more before we could proceed. That extra trip made it the most expensive tape I've ever purchased. We also had to empty and repack some of the boxes. Staples should not sell inferior products like this one. Feh!

Good tape useful in the office because of all those computer etc. cords all over the desk and the floor.

Make sure it is applied only where needed because it is tough to get off of surfaces.
