Half of the roll of tape had no adhesive on it. It was a total defect in manufacture. I had to return it. The new roll I exchanged it for has very poor adhesion. I am not pleased with this product at all.

This product is not kraft paper as described. It is a plastic-backed tape to which labels do not adhere and ink stamps do not work. It's use for a packaging tape is undercut by these characteristics.

This is a good product I work from home and do a lot of UPS/FEDEX shipping this tape works great dispenses easily and I would recommend it.

Big disappointment

Paper tape for packages is quite difficult to find nowadays. We hoped this one would meet USPS standards for Registered Mail -- stick securely and be able to be written on. It turned out to do neither. The glue doesn't hold well to a package; comes off easily. And because of a coating on top one cannot write on it. Thus from our viewpoint it's just about worthless and a Big Disappointment.

I specifically asked a Staples employee if the surface was paper and easy to write on guess he did not know what he was talking about.
