Paper packing tape doubles as marking tape for storage boxes and it is still very dependable for shipping. Can’t swear to it but I’m sure it’s more environmentally friendly too

Paper packing tape is the only tape the USPS allows you to use on parcels that are being sent registered and insured. They demonstrated to me how the plastic tape used to seal a package will allow someone to remove the Post Office "stamping" as the stamping can be rubbed off on the sealed overlap to pilfer the package. The paper tape won't allow the ink from their stamp to be rubbed off or otherwise be removed. I mail packages frequently registered and insured with valuable contents this is one way of minimizing the potential of the package being pilfered! Yea for the USPS!!
This tape is the best to wipe out any existing label on the box.

I normally used this tape to overlay the existing label or text on the box to ship the item out to the customer. It is the best out there. It is normally priced at $6; but now is $7.49. It is kind of expensive for $7.49; but I could not find any alternative.
The paper packaging tape does not stick well. It kept coming off my cardboard package so I used clear packing tape over it. I was hoping to avoid the plastic. Please make better tape.
