Tape doesn't stay stuck

The review title says it. The tape sticks to a cardboard packing carton but after a few days (or hours) comes loose

Try taping a cardboard box with this...if the temperature gets over 70 degrees it wilts off.

This tape adheres really well to cartons but will not stick to itself when overlapped because it is very shiny and slick. Labels and clear tape also will not stick to the paper tape and it can't be written on. The tape is OK for personal storage items but I would be wary shipping with it.

This tape is the best to wipe out any existing label on the box.

I normally used this tape to overlay the existing label or text on the box to ship the item out to the customer. It is the best out there. It is normally priced at $6; but now is $7.49. It is kind of expensive for $7.49; but I could not find any alternative.
