Not as good as I thought it would be. Tried wrapping up some package but it didn't hold. I had to use clear tape to reinforce package.

This is the second 3M product that I have purchased in the last week -- the other was clear packing tape -- that doesn't stay stuck to packing boxes. Has 3M forgotten how to make tape? Really?

Great for picture framing

We use this tape for sealing the back of picture frames and it is wonderful. Also great for sealing boxes etc.

This tape may have some applications where it is passable but doesn’t get good marks for shipping. The sticky side is difficult to convince to adhere to even clean cardboard and certainly doesn’t adhere to its own shiny backing. Layering the tape is not an option writing on the tape is not an option. It is also not a very useful color. It is much lighter than any cardboard box you would want it to blend with so it doesn’t even offer the discrete aesthetic that many want in kraft paper tapes. It has a high plastic content so low score for sustainability as well. Unimpressed.
