I asked the clerk if the store carried paper tape and told him I needed it specifically for registered mail. Post office told me it was no good (glossy surface) after I wrapped the package so it was a waste of purchase.

I thought this was an environmental choice but it doesn't stick to itself (in overlapping corners) and came off later loosening as the package sat outside waiting to be picked up

It was not as good as promoted. I used it for shipping boxes and the tape just would not stick properly. I then had to get more tape to put over. Did not like it at all.
