Been using Avery labels for years it nice to see that staples brand is equal to the quality of the avery brand for a much lower cost per label as well as large box size. The large box size reduces my number of orders per year and addresses my higher volume production line needs. It would be better if they also came in different colors to allow for color coding. The ability to order on-line and pickup in the store allows me to get the product into my location by the next morning without having to wait for UPS. and without having to run out in the middle of the day.

I have used these labels for the last 20 years to reach my fanbase by snail mail mailings. Aside from the great value and lower cost than any of the bigger brand names I find them easier to peel from the sheets than those bigger brand names too - and when you're labeling betw 1500 & 2000 postcards in multiple mailings per month that makes a BIG difference! My HP all-in-one printer effortlessly feeds the label sheets with rare 'bad feeds' (fewer than the bigger names in my experience) and they hold the ink JUST as well as the bigger brands. So why not use the Staples brand instead I say!

Staples vs Avery 5160 labels

II have been using mailing labels for morethan 22 years for mailing an astronomy newsletter to all the local schools other readers and teachers. Most recently I purchased a box of the Avery 5160 labels and could not use them because the printing would start at the top edge rathe than the top margin. (I am using a HP4300 with XP and Word 2007.) I also tried tthe Avery labels on my Brother 2270 and gor the same results.. I returned the labels to the Staples store in Kernersville store and the clerk was great to owrk with -- the typical courteous friendly knowledgable Staples personnel!!
