The page says it's perforated so it can be removed with a clean edge but it does not tear of with the perforation it tears the whole sheet off with the spiral holes. Not good at all don't buy if you care about a clean edge

Could be better

I recently bought the "new" version of this product where the logo is big and white instead of the logo being transparent and smaller. I liked the discreteness of the older version since the logos weren't right in your face. This includes all versions of the transparent logo (including the staples logo w a box enclosed around it). I also noticed that in the newer version the paper was thinner (not by much but it is noticeable) and that the lines in the graph paper aren't as bright or thick as they used to be. Now for the smaller stuff that won't have too much of an impact the divider in the front isn't textured anymore and the rings around the notebook are bigger as well. I bought these notebooks because they were great for the price and felt premium and while I'm still going to use the one I bought since I hate using Mead graph notebooks I might start looking at other options. This may seem really specific but I'm somewhat picky with my notebook tastes and the old staples notebook was the perfect option for me.
They're even better than I anticipated. They have a plastic pocket sheet and the grids are nice and small. I love these notebooks. Plus they came the day you said they would. Satisfied customer.
I have diligently searched for this notebook: grid graph paper cardboard back so not too flexible wire bound so open on lab bench smooth hand paper not excessive graphics. All good !!
