This sheet magnified in the center in the package but it does NOT magnify an entire page. IF there is a lamp/lights overhead the lights reflect off of the sheet making it even less useful. I returned this product.

Copy of instructions for embroidery machine was pages of very small print. Rather than print enlarged versions used sheet magnifier to see pertinent info as I moved through steps. Held two inches or so above small print material worked well. Lightweight plastic sheet was comfortable to grip.
