Copy of instructions for embroidery machine was pages of very small print. Rather than print enlarged versions used sheet magnifier to see pertinent info as I moved through steps. Held two inches or so above small print material worked well. Lightweight plastic sheet was comfortable to grip.

I can see how this magnifier might help to view individual sheets but it didn't work at all with a bound book. Guess I'll need an old-fashioned magnifying glass.

It works but not conveniently. It has to be held 4 inches away from paper. I thought it would magnify by placing it on top of the source to magnify.
