I have spent the weekend searching for Gel Wrist Pads. Department stores, computer and office supply retailers apparently no longer carry the gel type wrist pads. I found only one in stock and it is the Fellowes Microban model CRC 9179401. It is not the photo or background display I would have normally chosen being a long beach scene with no ships or persons and not much in detail. The alternatives mostly are the fiber wrist pads which I believe will rub rather than glide. The only complaint that I would have about the item is not the item itself but the packaging. Sealed to prevent separation that is wrist pad from package, it is sealed such that there is no perforated opening and requires scissors that could damage the wrist pad in opening. No way to easily open the package and start using it immediately. Suggest a new packaging design and more scenic options.
Pros: Functionality, Quality Construction, design, reliable manufacturer
Cons: sealed package, not user friendly in accessing

Smells terrible!

This wrist guard smells terrible! It made my entire computer room smell!
Pros: Quality Construction, Functionality
Cons: smells terrible!

Sometimes our gel wrist rests will emit a smell upon opening. The good news is that this odor will dissipate shortly!
