Strong enough to withstand a toddler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape can do the job any job! We use it primarily for household use with the occasional need in our home office. When the order first arrived my toddler who loves tape got a hold of a roll and tried turning himself into a tape mummy. It held up! Otherwise we used the tape to wrap a few gifts and on minor office projects. I'd say I prefer the tape for office/ general use versus gift wrapping. The tape is very glossy. If you prefer wrapping that tape disappears I would use this style. With that said the glossiness adds to the strenght I feel. It has the feel and style of a thin packing tape so for boxes or class projects it's great. The dispenser is very easy to use. The cutting edge is sharp so be careful with younger fingers but overall a common design with better than most results.

Great Tape

It is by far the most transparent tape I have used making it barely noticeable creating an incredibly clean look. Once placed it will not unstick unless you want it to which is so handy if it needs to be removed. In removing it it left no residue and did not tear the paper it was holding. That is a huge plus when the tape needs to be removed without destroying the item it was holding. While I mainly used this for work purposes the fact that it is so clear has fantastic holding power while still being able to remove it without damage makes it a versatile product for any kind of project including art projects. Great tape!

Holds Really Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that these are refills for the plastic tape dispensers. I don’t have space for a full size tape dispenser so I prefer to get the single/plastic dispensers and throw them into the kitchen junk drawer for easy access. It was easy to reload the refill into the dispenser. The tape itself sticks really well. I’ve used it for projects and also taping a label to bubble mailer. We go through a lot of tape with the kids projects. With it being cost effective easy to reload the dispenser and holds well I would definitely repurchase!

Easy Refill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This might be the most transparent tape I have used creating a "barely there" look. Once placed it will not unstick unless you want it to making it handy for removal if necessary without tearing the material. In removing it it left no residue and did not tear the paper it was holding. I was pleasantly surprised that the amount of tape in the refill provides even more tape than what came in the original dispenser. I mainly used it for work purposes but because of the holding power and how clear the tape appears it would be a great option for art or school projects as well. My favorite part is how clear the tape appears once stuck.

The glossiness of the finish made it unlikely to be used for gift wrapping as I prefer subtle finishes. Otherwise this tape had great strength for the office classwork household needs and strong enough to withstand a toddler playing with it. The package of 3 will last us for a long time as there's a ton on each roll. Very happy with the strength and the quality.

Refills to stick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use a lot of tape in this household for crafting. The Staples Transparent Tape with refill is a great tape. It is easy to put in the dispenser and so simple to peel the first piece of tape off. The tape is clear instead of matte which makes it ideal for my kids art projects. These kids LOVE taping all sorts of paper together and expect it to hang for months around our house. This tape definitely has staying power and hold up their art and their expectations. Would definitely recommend!

Great Tape

I've been using the tape for work to keep things together and in my personal use at home to hang up photos used for crafts for my kids and to hold together broken items. When I first realized that the tape had a glossy finish I was concerned with how it would look in use but haven't had any concerns or been struck by how much it sticks out. 3 refills has been more than enough for my limited use but I do like the tape. The packing was simple and easy to open which is welcome when now a days everything is over packaged and feels wasteful. The simpler packaging and clean look was a welcome change when it feels like every product is trying to sell you on why that item is the best one. At the end of the day I just need tape to do its job and this one delivers.

Great Multipurpose Tape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of the tape was positive. I have used it both for wrapping gifts and crafts projects and both times the tape tore cleanly had a supportive hold and were transparent enough for my uses. I liked most the ease that it tore with off of the dispenser. I like the idea of the three pack so that I can have some in the kitchen desk etc.
