This review is specifically for the ivory heavyweight perforated notepads TR58194. We've been looking for notepads which (1) tear easily and (2) have durable back pads for us to write on at the office. What I do love about the notepads are the colors--blue ivory and white. The paper is smooth and is easy to write on. The top binding falls just short of the perforation which is great because when the paper is torn it is not caught underneath the binding. We have been using pads which have the perforation lines underneath the top binding which makes them hard to tear cleanly (paper scrunches up torn edges look ugly and so on). Even though there aren't left margins on the notepads they do have a date line on top. Overall I'm very happy with these notepads and we will be buying more!
Better than average paper quality is good for liquid ink rollerballs. Not having a vertically ruled margin enables use of the full width. I always date each sheet that I write so the preprinted date line at the top is odd but useful. There is a narrow ruled version which I also have but I find that wide ruled lines are more comfortable.
Not at all what we expected. Unlike other high quality tablets we have purchased from Staples before; but those don't seem to be available any more. The lines don't go all the way across the page and there's no margin column on the lefthand side. My husband won't use them at all!
Great because pages do not come off unless you remove. A little pricey I was surprised there wasn't more selection on plain lined notepads. You can get them more affordable but they have the left margin in red.
