Quality product that I found while working for a company. I have since purchased these on my own for personal use. All writing instruments glide easily over paper. Over time, if used frequently, pages can begin to tear along the perforations, but then perhaps you should then be purchasing a journal.

Great notebook for fountain pens!

I have been exploring the wonderful world of fountain pens these last few months. One important thing I learned is that fountain pens, even the really super nice / expensive ones, will not perform optimally unless you are using quality paper. The 24lb paper in my new Black n Red spiral notebook (ref. C67009U) is a real pleasure. Unlike other notebooks with cheaper paper, ink does not bleed through. I can use both sides of the paper in this notebook, even with heavy flowing pens using dark inks. I purchased this notebook to take to an out of town business meeting. It's portable and I'm certain it will capture my notes very nicely. One final thought - I also appreciate the fairly large spiral binding. I can fit several of my thinner fountain pens (e.g. Waterman Laurette) securely in the binding without worries of losing it. I purchased this notebook for a very reasonable price, and am thrilled with its quality.

I purchase every other month. The prodcut is wonderful except the most recent L67000. The pages tear out at the perforations much too easily. I have to use bits of cellophane tape over 100 times to help bind the pages. Hopefully this is not a permanent change.
