Does the trick for shipping packages.

I use shipping tape to seal edges on mailing envelopes and to reinforce & smooth corners on large envelopes. My need is to make sure items will survive transit. This is working well. I prefer the 3M tape though. I picked this one because it appeared comparable and the 3M was not available at the store.
I use this tape for Shipping boxes containing up to 75 pounds. I even use it over my address labels to keep them from getting damp. Performance shipping tape wise is on par with most name brands. Another plus is it is made in the USA where some name brands are not! The only down fall is if you leave a package in a hot car with the windows up or a storage locker. At higher temps the adhesive does not hold as well. By higher temps I mean 120-150 degrees what a hot car in summer sun can reach as can a storage locker.
I was surprised this tape held up even though it rained and got wet. Once applied I did not have to reapply new tape. It stayed in place through heat and rain for 9 days. When it was time to remove it the removal was easy and not messy. It worked best when used with a tape cutter. Otherwise you needed scissors or something sharp to cut it without the tape tangling. Someone advised me of this and I'm glad I listened. I bought one roll then realized the quality so I went back and bought the 3 pack the next day. I saved money.
Use the product for sealing packages I mail whether professional or personal. Do not like when it tears and you can't find the end and it pulls up in strips. Hope that was a one time incident.
