Dried out and can't unroll

I tried to use the tape and it is so dry I can only get small bits off at one time. It looks like about half the roll is this way and I do not have the patience to work it down until it is good.

This four pack of masking tape is a complete disappointment. The glue on the tape is so tough on the role that one cannot get the tape apart without using a pointed object. However once the tape is unraveled it does not stick for a long period of time at all.

First roll but not too happy. Pieces keep tearing lengthwise

I'm only on the first roll but the edges keep tearing as the tape is pulled from the reel. Not matter how careful I am to gently peel the tape off one edge will stick to the roll and the piece that I need will start to tear.

Ever buy masking tape that doesn’t stick? I had to chuck it and buy the staples 1/2” tape. I like it but only wish staples had it in 3/4”.
