Not sure if it was just old stock or poor quality. This was by far the worst masking tape I have ever purchased.

This tape has worked out great and our grandchildren have used it on various projects without any problems.

Read title. Holds on well enough to plastic deli containers in a commercial kitchen. 4/pack was cheaper than the name brand version.

This works at least as well as non-store brand national brand tape! It seems to stick well. It peels from the roll easily. It might be a little thinner than some but so far its fine!
