The masking tape purchased must have been exposed to high temperatures. It was impossible to get the tape to unwind from the spool. There was no problem returning the tape as the Staples store it was taken to readily accepted the return.

In years past masking tape were stronger. I couldn't even remove the tape without it tearing off. And I was careful going slowly too. I wouldn't mind paying more for a higher quality material.

This tape will stick better than any other tape out there. I also use this at our school to put things up and it stay very well. I tell everyone to get their masking tape from staples in the staples brand. There is know other like it.

I was unable to peel the tape because it seemed dry-rotted and flaked off when I tried to grab the ends. Every roll in the pack was like that. I will be returning it for a refund.
