This is good tape. I use it mostly to seal my wrapped meat for my freezer. It sticks and stays well in the freezer. The only reason I did not give it a five star is like everything these days the cost is up and the amount is less. You used to be able to purchase the pack with FIVE rolls of tape. Now it's down to four and costs more.

Unrolls in pieces

I purchased the tape needing it to mark off seats in auditorium. Unfortunately the tape stuck to itself on the roll and came off in small uneven pieces.
This tape is poor quality and had a very difficult time pulling it off the roll. It would come off in bits and was impossibly to get a decent length off the r. Return was easy and staples team is always understanding and friendly. Would not recommend this product but recommend sticking to 3m or scotch brands for masking tape.
This tape was dried out like it was 100 years old and had no stickiness to it. i can't believe you put something like this on your shelves to sell.

Tape is too thin and fragile.

Tape is so fragile that it frequently tears when pulling off a piece - then you have to hunt for the end of the tape to scratch it up to restart a piece to pull off again - very frustrating. The stickiness if not bad so that the tape is usable primarily as labels or to remove lint from clothes. The tape would be a really good value if it were a little thicker and a little wider. Definitely do not use it to mask items when painting because it is so thin that the paint can penetrate it and stain the material underneath it.
