Great Value Masking Tape

The Staples Masking Tape 0.9" x 60 yards is definitely a great buy. It is as good as other branded masking tapes. Its adhesive is as good as other brands as well. I use it to label boxes as I do not want to write directly on the box so I use Staples masking tape for my labeling. I am glad that I can easily remove the tape as well without damaging the surface of the box when I want to change labels. I bought a 4-pack of Staples masking tape and it is much cheaper compared to other brands of masking tape which I usually find at other stores.

I had some difficulty finding some masking tape to be used to secure boxes. When I went to Staples I found a ring of 3 masking tapes that were easy to use and held the boxes securely.

The tape was so old it was discolored and shredded when trying to peel it off the roll. Finally gave up after trying two different rolls. Would've given zero stars if it was an option.

Masking Tape Effectiveness?

We use alot of masking tape in our household. I mean "alot". Because of our business which is hand-painted chidrens clothing we must TAPE down certain items like denim caps. It is important that the tape has enough adhiesiveness to keep the item "flat" and taped to a cardboard in order to be painted. The item must remain flat for 24 hours until the paints dries. Staples masking tape doesn't quite do the job for our purposes. Sorry Staples.

This tape is bad. It is hard to peel away; it tears in awkward ways and you end up wasting a lot of tape and rarely do you get the size of piece you need before it splits down the middle.

THIS TAPE IS OLD OR SOMETHING IT WILL NOT PULL OFF. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED WITH THIS TAPE. I BOUGHT SEVERAL ROLLS ON THIS TRIP AND WILL BE RETURNING AS SOON AS I MAKE THE 45 MILE TRIP TO THE RUSSELLVILLE STAPLES STORE.
