It must have sat in a hot warehouse because the tape would not peel off and once it did it did not hold anything to the wall.

The masking tape purchased must have been exposed to high temperatures. It was impossible to get the tape to unwind from the spool. There was no problem returning the tape as the Staples store it was taken to readily accepted the return.

Hey It's masking tape. It did the job I wanted it to. It was in a bin in the aisle. I needed it for the next day so I grabbed some. If you are wondering about my use of the word hey? It's because I received an email from Staples that had "Hey what do you think about your masking tape?" in the subject line.

All other tapes should hide in shame from the wonder that is this tape. It's super sticky but not in an annoying "look-at-me" kind of way. It just does it's job quietly efficiently and with a real sense of purpose. Other tapes stick just fine but this one does the job with urgency and a can-do attitude. I'll never even look at another tape again without feeling guilty.
