higher quality than other cheeper one and needed in a fix but would buy again if needed right away otherwise buy on ebay

You get what you pay for...

It will get you through a moving ordeal but it is not as sturdy as some of the more notable tape companies such as 3M or Scotch Tape.

Clearly The Choice To Keep Costs Down

As packing tape prices soar this budget tape is still a decent value. It is thinner than other more expensive Commercial Brand-Name tapes and can be used for heavy or big items but may need multiple layers or applications. I use it for my medium weight UPS and USPS daily packing needs and it just makes it as far as strength due to it's extreme lack of thickness. I use it because it is less-expensive and I do use a lot of clear tape. If your boxes are old or heavy this may not be the tape for you. Works great too over laser-printed mailing labels and such where a clear covering is needed for visibility. A bit touchy when using this in tape gun applicators because of it's lack of thickness.

I expected better from the Staples brand

This tape is not as good as I expected it to be coming from Staples. It is okay but not as good as 3M's brand.
