This Tape is GREAT

This packaging tape is the best. When used for regular packaging of course you can rely on Staples Standard-Grade Packaging Tape....but I have found a lot of other uses for it. My kids use it when they are making large posters projects for school. When I put away large holiday decorations I put them in bags so they don't get dusty and I tape them up. My kids often need folders for school and they tear so I repair them with the durable packaging tape.

The end gets lost each time I use this tape. When I find the end the tape tears so easily I end up wasting a lot of tape trying to get a FULL width of tape.

the ends can get stuck on the roll. tricky to peel off. should come with a little plastic peeler not too sharp or dangeous however to fix this. Maybe some sort of solvent solution with applicator tip would do it. Usually I just use my fingernails. If the tape splits along the length it becomes a much worse problem. Tape should be structured not to shear along its length. I've had to throw away whole rolls ococasionally.

Not a bargain

Very thin and tends to come loose from box. Main issue is leaves residue on most hard surfaces which will need to cleaned off with solvent. of course with some plastics the solvent will ruin them. Go for higher quality or different brand. The movers used the tan/brown tape. it wasnt any thicker but didnt leave any residue when you peeled it.
