I have been using the Staples brand packaging tape for long long time wiht no problem. It's great for large quantity and low cost packaging. Will recommend people to try. Great work.

Thinner than the brand name tape but adequate strength...good adhesion

If weight is critical with your shipment this tape may work well for you. It is thinner thus lighter in weight. It does appear to have adequate strength and good adhesion properties. I was skeptical when I purchased this store brand tape was more skeptical when I discovered how thin it was compared to the brand name tape I had purchased at Staples before. However I was pleasantly surprised that the tape seems to have adequate strength and satisfactory adhesion. The only CON that I can think of is that the tape folds over on itself very easily because of its thin flimsy nature. However it pulls tight and holds well though so I would recommend it overall. It is also nearly half the cost of the brand name tape. Good deal.
