This standard grade packing tape functions well and is very strong. I use it on all of my boxes when shipping items of varied weights without issue.

Not the quality I expect from Staples

If I had had time I would have returned the product but I was under a tight deadline so I just hoped and prayed the tape stayed stuck to the boxes I was shipping.

I was helping my daughter pack for a long distanse move and found out what she was paying for her packing tape and when she ran out of tape I volunteered to pickup some more for her. I shop quite often at the local Staples and decided to check what was available there. I was not surprised to find the great price for the quantity. We found that the Staples tape was very competitive in quality price and quantity as the tape that she had been purchasing for a much higher price. We feel that the thickness of the tape might be slightly thinner but it worked just as well. She moved across country and she said that all of her boxes were intact and the tape held securely.

This tape is excellent! I compare it to other generic tapes that I have purchased in the past and this one is by far the best! It is thick excellent adhesion and AFFORDABLE!

This product works well for our shipping of online sales. Although it is not the heaviest-duty available it works far better than other brands we have used that cost about the same. it doesn't tear and tangle like some brands of packing tape that we have tried in the past.

I ship a good deal for work and also through online sales. I did not want to spend $30 for a few rolls of tape. I opted instead for this standard-grade packaging tape and it was really the wise choice. It is thick enough and strong enough to mail books or even auto parts. However it also adheres nicely to small envelopes or of course padded envelopes of all types. It works so well. To me the Staples brand of tape is just as good or better than the national brands. In fact I have used this Standard-Grade now for more than a year and I really like it. It's worth spending a bit more compared to the economy-grade. Consider buying it.

The recent price increase is drastic on this 6 pack of tape. More than $3.00 per package in the past 2 years!
