The tape I purchased is sticky around outside and seems to not pull smoothly it has a jerking motion. I will look for something else in the future.

Normally I buy this tape by the case but the most recent case and its replacement smelled unbelievably bad and the tape stuck to itself. Returned it bought a competing brand. It has in the past been good but if this is the new normal not worth the lower price.

I ship a few thousand books a year most often one and occasionally two per order. This is the most cost effective and easiest to use tape I have found. I have also packed thousands of books in larger boxes holding about 25 pounds to move cross country and it has been equally effective. I recommend it to friends when asked.
