I absolutely love this set, the exterior is beautifully detailed as well as the interior. The minifigures are fantastic offering a variety of students and teachers, I have also added the Collectible Minifigure series to give my hogwarts a busier feel. This set paired with the Whomping Willow set extends the play and makes for a great castle display.
The set would have probably took less time to build but I wanted to make it last.

Perfect 10th birthday gift!

My daughter started reading HP books a few months ago when the lockdown started, and has become a big fan. This was a perfect gift for her. She managed to finish it in a few hours, with very little help (she let me "help" so I wont feel left out).
I called for it by international delivery from USA, and the customs opened the package and I when we opened the box few pieces started falling out, and I was very apprehensive about missing pieces ruining the whole set, but luckily nothing was missing, and in fact there were quite a few spares as well.
Been 24 hours since we finished this and I am already thinking of getting another one from the set...looks like i am becoming a fan too!
I wish Lego had official sales outlets in India, they are missing out on a big market!

This is a must have product for serious Harry Potter fans! Great exterior and looks even better with the Whomping Willow set .A highlight of this set; The mini figures were really great. I liked how they included a Hufflepuff (Susan Bones), even though she is kind of obscure. This set includes many highly detailed mini figures, such as Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall, which were my favorites. Also I really enjoyed the special molds and prints, such as the new wand pieces and the Sorting Hat. In conclusion, the set has great exterior and features. Great buy for any Harry Potter fans.

I love the extra details with this set, I'll admit this is my first experience with Lego as I purchased as a HP fan but I absolutely love this! Love the characters! I cannot wait to get the rest of sets!

Fun set to build and looks great

Great value for the money. I helped my six year old put this together and we combined it with 8 of the other Harry Potter sets and achieved a pretty neat set of scenes from the different stories.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The magic of this set is outstanding the entrence in the great hall is so grand! Then you eat dinner then go up the stairs! Then off to bed you go. This set has so much detail and I like it!!!

2017 Great Hall set

This set is fantastic, it has so many minifigures, and has several great display pieces, unfortunately it is dark in the set unless you add additional lighting directed at it to make it light. The Basilisk is a bit small for what it is supposed to be, but this set is fantastic with the mirror of Erised and the reflective stickers. If you are a fan of Harry Potter, or just want a Lego Castle, this is a great set for that

A really good value for a nice looking Great Hall. 5 Hogwarts "Firstyers" a big Hagrid, Dumbledore, Mcgonagall and Quirrel. Not to mention Harry's owl,Ron's rat, and boat to boot. I may MOC it up to make stained glass, but it doesn't need much. I did add some 1×1 slope tiles to clean it up.
