Best Bang for your Buck

This set is spectacular! The size and beauty of this set is tremendous. There were some problems. I was indeed missing some pieces, and had the wrong pieces at times, but I managed to replace the needed pieces with ones that I already had. There was one more problem. Book 2 and 3 both have very small printing errors. I was wondering if I could receive new copies of Book 2 and 3. I think because they are defective, they will lower the overall value of the set. Overall, I would recommend this set to big time collectors as myself, but not as a gift for kids.

The best Lego ever! I thought I had missing parts, but I just over looked them...DAH When fully assembled it is very impressive, and I hope that Lego continues with these large builds. I've been saying for years that there is a market out there for Lego for adults. You nailed it!

i have many sets in my collection and have never bothered to leave a review but this set is absolutely incredible and felt i had to for this one. the attention to detail is just amazing. it is also rock-solid when complete, i would even go as far as to say it's unsinkable haha. i also love how it can be partially disassembled after completion to view the insides. turn the crankshaft and the propellers spin. this is definitely one of the tops if not the tops in my ever-growing collection.

Well done Lego. This was a joy to build and I completed it in 5 days. Not a single missing piece, just a few extra small pieces as usual. The level of detail included makes me wish I had somewhere lower to display it. I currently have it on top of my Lego display bookshelves because it is so large once assembled, but you can't see all the details with it being up high. Loved every minute of building the Titanic.
