I enjoy building the larger sets and I was so excited when I bought this iconic set. The build experience is amazing, I loved seeing it shaping up from the full structure to the great details... and the display is absolutely amazing once it's all ready. I hope Lego will release more sets like this in the coming future. It is absolutely one of my favorites! Fun for building with friends too.

The strings are too short

Building the titanic will take multiple days. The rudder is not sturdy and breaks easily, some steps are not thought through where the titanic is prone to shattering when putting multiple pieces together. And in the end the strings are way too short for the masts. Quite annoying, but to be expected from the LEGO company.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have always wanted this set. So when I got a good bonus from work I immediately ordered it! It was on backorder but I was willing to wait! I have yet to start building but I am so looking forward to it!! I have built the Eiffel Tower and loved building it!

I love this set and it is by far my favorite set so far but one slight mistake happened when I finished it I didn’t have any space so I just put it on my floor and the next week I was getting of my bed I accidentally kicked it and the hole back broke of and just fell into a million pieces and a week later I had to take the hole back apart and rebuild it and in twenty minutes I had it all back together again

When I got this set, I knew it would be cool, but honestly the size and detail still blows me away. The build was repetitive and, towards the end, boring. But the end result is insane. There is detail packed into every corner. I also love the stands it sits on, and when I first ordered it, I expected to take them off immediately and just let it sit on the table. Also, every 15-20 pages, there is a fun fact about the real titanic. If you have a cat, know that they will definitely try to destroy it.
