(This review has important information about construction near bottom)
This Lego set has to be the absolute best over all set that Lego has ever ever released. The time it took me to build this Lego set was close to 35 hours, some of the best hours of my life. The build is so awesome, they used so many unique building techniques that make this so fun to put together! Hours upon hours of fun!!
The worst part about this set to me is the middle section, it is a little repetitive at parts but I still had fun making it! I would definitely recommend this set though.
This is also cool (look at the attached picture) you can take out the middle section and put the front and the back together to make something I call The Tinic (Titanic without the ta in the middle). Another really cool thing is that you can construct any box first (starting with box 2 or 3 instead of box 1) which makes it to where you can tag team the set with friends and family at the same time!!!
BEWARE: On box 3, (the last box/back of the ship/stern) when you put the two pieces of the stern together they won’t click together if you don’t align the shafts coming off the amazingly detailed engines… Make sure you do so or you could break the set and the pieces that come with it!!!
WARNING: this set is very complicated and if you don’t know what you’re doing then I wouldn’t suggest it. This set is also very heavy and hard to move around. The set it’s self is around 17 pounds (7.7kg)
I would highly recommend this amazing set it has so many cool things and you will love it! Now I can add it to my collection of big sets. I look forward to more amazing sets like this Lego!
(P.s: Lego, do me a favor and give whoever made this set a raise, they truly deserve it!)

Wonderful build. Nice to see how everything came together to make this ship.
I was so excited to get this set. I have always been interested in the story of Titanic. I have built hundreds of sets in the past, and only one had a piece missing. I had an extra, so I didn’t bother telling LEGO. However, today, I filled out my second request for the third missing piece. This is crazy for the price I paid.
It's really cool and has a lot of attention to detail for the actual ship which is amazing for us history buffs. However the only complaint my husband and I had putting this together was the instruction book. I really wish they had put this onto an app with virtual bricks. Some of the pics made it really difficult to discern where certain bricks went and there was multiple times we tried to put the boat together in each section and it fell apart because a piece wasn't in the correct spot but on the picture in the book it was so hard to tell, there was no way to know if we got it correct until we just started guessing where some of the pieces went. Overall it was ok; but man.. some frustration with trying to put all the sections together and really for as detailed as this is, they need to put the instructions into a digital format on an app like they have done with the Mario builds so you can manipulate the bricks and move the views around.

Huge Kit

Obviously the largest kit by numbers but it’s hard to tell until you get it on the table to build. I’m going to have to build a shelf dedicated to it just to have a place to display/store it. There are so many great techniques employed and I don’t want to ruin it for people. It is a great build so far, and I’m about 1/3 finished. The price is really really high, but totally worth it. I was hesitant at first but I’m very happy I ordered it the day it came out. I can’t recommend it enough for titanic fans
