Great and massive set

I was on the fence for so long, simply because of the price. But finally I decided I needed this set. When I saw a waiting list open, I jumped at the chance. 6 weeks later it was delivered. All 30+ pounds of it! I'm actually still in the process of building but I am in love with this set. It is so very worth it. If you're like me and thinking of buying it, rest assured you'll be happy you did. Great set!

Awesome in every detail, no missing parts, only one step had a confusing looking part (showed at an angle), but otherwise no issues 99.5 %. Fun to build and I educated myself via facts from an on-line encyclopedia as I was building. Err, for those reviewers who had missing parts, I think I was told that Lego has all the parts bagged and sorted by computer, so it would be very rare to be missing any parts. I figure if humans did the task, it would be very time consuming and prone to many errors, so technology took over for more efficiency!

Just Incredible

Just finished building mine, and what an absolute joy it's been. Yes, it's expensive, but it offers an incredible building experience, the end result looks amazing, and talk about a fantastic conversation starter. This isn't just a Lego set, it's a work of art.

A true gem

Truly a great build. This is an amazing display piece. The engineering that went into creating this set reveals itself to the builder and will put a smile on your face. This set is an instant classic and will be highly coveted for years to come.

This thing was a monster. I built for a few hours a day for about 3 weeks.. by the last part, I was truthfully ready to be done with it, but it was so satisfying to complete. Amazing set, my first foray back into Lego since childhood and what a way to sink myself in. ;)

Amazing piece

I love building this one. It’s a beautiful piece and the size of it is massive. All the details are incredible. My frustrations have been missing pieces and having to wait 10 days to get them in. Then I go to box 2 and another missing piece because the instructions are wrong. Box 2 step 40 does not show the 1x6 you need for that step. So when you see it’s not in the “pieces you need section” You grab one but now you are missing one for the next step.

My wife thought I was nuts getting up at midnight to pre order this set but it was well worth it. This set is big and was a lot of fun to put together. A lot of little details all around this set.
