As Titanic is my favorite movie, I was very pleased to have its inspiration translated into a beautiful Lego model. It's massive and seemably quite accurate to the real ship.

The flag

Love the Titanic and I’m currently building it. Only one complaint. The ship sailed in 1912. The American flag that came with the kit has 50 stars. That’s just wrong in 1912 there were 48 states so the flag should be the one with 48 stars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very enjoyable build

Where to start. The ingenuity on the assembly is remarkable. Using different clips to hold the hull to the framework, to fill in small openings. The different decks and the look of the rooms from the ends of the sections. The engines was a neat idea and to turn the props.
Only downside and easy to overcome. When building the “rooms” I would go to the next step and put the floor pieces in before putting the 6x8 plate in its assigned place. That ensures that the pieces are in all the way.
Other downside-was planning on only 1 numbered set of bags a day-got hooked and would do more than that a day.

Wish I never purchased

I bought this after I bought hogwarts. Really wanted to have another big build. Decided to reward myself and when I got into the 15th bag I was missing pieces and I had to wait 10 days for the replacements to come and then 6 bags later I ran into the same issue. Really frustrating when you finish a build because of mistakes and especially after the money spent. Don’t know if I’ll buy the icon sets anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What an amazing build with some incredible details to boot. Personally love taking it apart in sections to show off internal details. 10/10 would recommend to anyone with the time and money to build. Fair warning, it does take up a fair bit of space and is rather heavy when built.

I was so excited to get this set. I have always been interested in the story of Titanic. I have built hundreds of sets in the past, and only one had a piece missing. I had an extra, so I didn’t bother telling LEGO. However, today, I filled out my second request for the third missing piece. This is crazy for the price I paid.
