There's a glaring issue with this build; specifically the stern. I highly recommend using model glue/cement on the parts sitting beneath the propeller shafts. It is the poorly thought out/designed so they fall off easily.
I've circled the parts in question in the images I've uploaded.
Other than that it's been years since I've done a full lego build and I hope Lego continues to make sets this size. Especially if they make Titanic's Sister Ships Britannic and Olympic or even other famous vessels like the Andrea Doria, Lusitannia, SS United States or Queen Mary etc. The details on this ship are incredible for a lego set and I look forward to more!

We're sorry you're having trouble keeping your set together. If you'd like a hand troubleshooting the build or if you find that any pieces aren't holding together as they should, feel free to give us a shout at LEGO.build/Service-BV so we can help! Please note, we don't recommend using glue on LEGO bricks, as the chemicals may distort the shape of the brick. LEGO bricks are designed to be built and rebuilt over and over again, and glue does not make this possible.

To the one complaining about the missing flags, mine were in the box with the first book. Could easily have missed them I guess. To the one complaining about the black rope being the wrong size, according to your picture, you did it wrong, review your building steps and it should be fine.
The whole set is gorgeous, well detailed and absolutely worth it's price. I'm thrilled I was able to get one and will cherish it for years to come!

Having fun

We are a pair of seniors (70+) who work together. We download the plans so we each have them on our iPads. She sorts them by color and then selects the parts using the list for each step and I do the assembly. Titanic is our biggest project and we do a step per day (before naps). Something this big is 80% process and 20% product as a lot of the detail is hidden from view in the finished model. We've been at this a month and we're having a blast doing it. We're about 3/4 finished (bow, midships and early in the stern). When we're finished, we'll go back and deal with the strings/cables, 'cause they're all wrong.

I got this set for my 11 year old son, and he finished it in 3 days. His rating was a 10/10 Becuase he is a ship hobbyist , and a Lego one as well. When I got this for him for his birthday, he flipped. He immediately got to work, and he loved it! He told me everything about it, sent me pictures. When I saw it, I knew it was worth it. Thank you so much Lego!

Great Build Experience
on November 23, 2021

Overall the build was a fun build. I liked the unique building techniques. The Titanic will be displayed in the living room for sure. The level of detail was great which in my opinion is a big plus on the set, but also a negative on the set, one of the details the was skipped and would have only added a few more pieces to the set was the Antenna on the ship (ropes going between the masts) the middles section should have 2 ropes (wires) as that was the ships antenna and there should be a rope (wire) attached between the 1 and 2nd smoke stack. The instructions were great and easy to follow which is a plus, but again a negative as there are several mistakes through the books. Not all the pieces are listed in the corner needed for that step. The ship seems to be a very sturdy build. I posted a few pictures of my modifications to make the Antenna wire more accurate which I was able to do using some of the spare pieces.

Hi to the people at lego, umm I don’t know if this has happened for everyone but on page 31 of the second book the pieces that are being told to u that u need, one of them are missing on the little box where it tells you what pieces. And then if u go to the next page it says u need two of this type of lego but you only need one. Just letting you know bc it got me confused for a second
