I'm a bag a day builder these days, I like to take my time and make it a highlight of my day. I've only just finished box one, so I don't know what delights are ahead, but so far it's been a solid build and it's always a joy to see the way this behemoth comes together. Was hoping for more interior build, we'll see what's in the middle...
Some of the repetition and finicky bits have gotten to me, but the mindfulness I get from building is wonderful as per usual.
Anyway, after I finished this section I realised there was a part missing, so rectified with a BURP and some layabout white bricks 😉. Thank you and look forward to displaying completed project 👍👍👍

Huge splurge but my daughters dream for years was this set I was finally able to afford to get it for her and it has made a lifetime of memories for her and our family.I wish I could afford sets like this more often I wish the price could be lower.

At first I was skeptical but being a big time Maritime Enthusiast especially with OceanLiners and LostLiners, it was clear I had to make accommodations for this model set. Nothing major eventful about the build but to me that's not what I am after when acquiring a model set, it's the finished result. One thing that bothers me is the over critical nature many have made towards the model. It's an official set which means there will always be details left to be desired. In final closing, my verdict is Lego did a fantastic job and I welcome to see more Great Oceanliners to come!

Great build until

I was loving this build all the way until building the aft part of the ship. It's weak and falls apart easily. When almost done, a part of the bottom fell off and wouldn't go back on without knocking more off. This ship is expensive and shouldn't in my opinion be so chincy.
