Pause doesn't work

I have purchased several pairs of these JLab Rewind headphones in the past but the last 3 now don't pause. This feature is very important to me. Unless I figure out why and fix them, I won't buy any more.

Love retro styling and they're not skull crushers like some earphones are that I think is probably the best feature, the price was great so they break I'm not gonna cry about replacing

Pretty cool. Sounds is 4.5 out of 5 after you adjust the equalizer . Also just found ambient noise feature built into the headphones through the app.
