Stunning Visuals, But Not Without Flaws

Picture quality is its strongest asset—colors are vivid, blacks are deep, and contrast is sharp, making movies and games look stunning. The sleek design and thin bezels give it a premium feel, and the Smart Hub interface is intuitive and responsive. Streaming apps load quickly, and voice control adds convenience. Gaming performance is excellent with low input lag and smooth motion handling.
However, it’s not perfect. The built-in speakers are underwhelming—dialogue lacks clarity and bass is weak, so a soundbar is almost necessary. Brightness in daylight is also a challenge; glare can be distracting and peak brightness doesn’t always hold up in sunny rooms. Occasionally, the system lags when switching apps or adjusting settings, which breaks the otherwise smooth experience.
Overall, it’s a solid TV with great visuals and smart features, but audio and daylight performance need improvement.

The faces on real people look weird. I've tried everything I found on settings but the faces still the same. At this point I don't know what to do.

We appreciate your input on the picture quality of Samsung’s S90F TV. If the image isn’t meeting your expectations, there are several adjustments you can make to improve your viewing experience.

First, please ensure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates may include important picture quality enhancements. Go to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

Then, select a Picture Mode that best fits your environment: Home > Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
1. Standard – Default mode for general viewing
2. Dynamic – Brighter and clearer in well-lit rooms
3. Eco – Optimized for energy saving
4. Movie – Best for watching in dark environments
5. Filmmaker Mode – Preserves content exactly as intended by creators

You can also enhance your experience by enabling AI Mode, which automatically adjusts picture and sound based on your surroundings and usage patterns: Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > AI Mode Settings > AI Mode

Disappointed

After less than two weeks my remote no longer controls my tv. The tv is frozen on a Samsung plus channel. I can’t turn the tv on or off. Can’t control any channels or change any inputs. I have three other Samsung tv’s and am very disappointed with this set.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate your feedback regarding remote performance. If your TV is responding slowly or inconsistently to the remote, try the following steps:

1. Re-pair the remote – Stand within 1 foot of your TV and press Return and Play/Pause simultaneously for at least 5 seconds. A message should appear confirming it's connected.
2. Check the battery level – Go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Remote Control
3. Ensure proper charging – SolarCell Remotes can charge using:
o Room light or direct sunlight (solar panel should face light source)
o USB-C cable (preferably Samsung-branded)
4. Update your TV’s firmware – Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
5. Run Device Care to clear memory and close background apps that may slow performance: Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

washed face/oversaturated red issue on s90f 77" tv

I bought this TV and it was delivered Monday 2/23. For 2 days it worked great and was beautiful. I calibrated to the Rtings settings for both HDR and SDR content. Wednesday night i was watching a movie on prime HDR10+ and i noticed the colors were really off with orange and red being obnoxiously loud, especially around the face and lips. I tried other apps and it was happening there too. I found a few threads and tried the full turn off and on by holding the power button, didnt work. I factory reset and that did the trick. Now i am paranoid when watching that it will keep reoccuring based on other people with the issue. For how much money i just spent on this TV this seems unacceptable. It is apparently a known firmware issue/bug and not a TV issue. Has samsung said if they are going to be releasing an update to fix this Bug? It looks like it has been around for close to a year now. I am on the newest firmware and this a brand new TV...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
