Excellent Power Protection

Purchased this UPS when my old one finally rolled over and died. Three days after installation, this area experienced a very heavy, wet snow event. Utility power flickered and surged for well over an hour at my location. I have my computer, monitor and DSL modem plugged into the UPS portion. Everything continued to work normally. The UPS was clicking and maintaining a constant voltage. Over half of the modems in the county blew their programming - the provider techs spent Thanksgiving through the weekend reprogramming at great expense to the provider. My modem was fine, thanks to the UPS. I checked the UPS operation during a planned utility power outage when the house went to generator power. Again, the voltage stayed clean and fairly constant. To say I am pleased with the unit is a supreme understatement. Thanks for adding AVR technology to your products. It really saved my equipment.

The UPS arrived packaged perfectly in a timely fashion. It was easy to install and priced competitively. I will definatley be purchasing from Schneider Electric again!

As expected on first power on. Just like other APC products I have owned. As advertised. No problems. Does its job effectively. I expect years of trouble free performance. Bet I get it, too.

Replaced an older UPS for home desktop and large monitor. Loved the idea of monitoring software and LCD screen display on UPS. (Shows 96 watts / 30 min). Came with a detailed QA test taped to the unit, which made me feel like APC knows what they are doing. No problems with battery charging and setup. Replaceable battery is a big plus for me. Looks like this is a winner!
