I filled mine with water. It was very easy to put together. I liked that they lock in place with a little bar. I have not had the umbrella open when the wind is strong, but it seems to be very sturdy and have not had any movement with the weights on. It looks great. It does have a big foot print but that to be expected with an offset umbrella.

This is a great umbrella base! Bought it for my large BCP umbrella and have had no issues. I love that it is offset and does not interfere with other objects. I was concerned it may not be too sturdy due to it being plastic and offset, but it has been very sturdy! Obviously don't have to worry about it rusting either. Filling with sand was time consuming however, so keep that in mind. I definitely recommend this product and BCP!

We’ve got a number of these in black. This is the first one we got in gray. It’s a really nice match to our gray stamped concrete pool deck. They do a great job. Our area can be pretty windy, and these have kept our umbrellas in place through it all. They’re easy to store & don’t take up much space. They fit the umbrella stand perfectly. A simple fill with water & and they’re the perfect weight to hold the stand rock solid.
