umbrella weights for stand

These pieces are necessary for the completion of the umbrella. However, you can fill them with water BUT THEY LEAK. Also one came withOUT the washer to help reduce leakage from the cap.

Good base

This base works well and connects easily with the metal feet provided. The only issue I had was I wish the opening for the sand/water was bigger. I had to tape the funnel to the opening to fill with sand. Other than that I am satisfied with the purchase.
