Very Reliable, Fast and Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I can’t believe I am excited about a hard drive! the Kingston XS2000 2TB High-Performance Portable SSD is amazing. The Kingston XS2000 2TB High-Performance Portable SSD comes with a rubber sleeve that keeps the drive durable, water-resistant, and dust resistant. I saved a lot of files on this drive instead of my PC (for security). Very fast transfers of even large groups of large photo files. I use it several times a week, mostly writing to it, and sometimes reading from it. Never any problems, no corrupt sectors, etc. My PC always recognizes it (my older drives were hit and miss for recognition). Loads of space, and it seems sturdy and it never makes a sound and barely warms up even with extended use. USB-C is great too. The drive is small enough to be carried around easily and fits in my pant pockets ( portability in a pocket ). It has freed up over 100GB of space on my laptop and now my laptop is experiencing less lag. A great tool to help increase the capacity of your any laptop new or old.

Small, lightweight drive for portable storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with the external ssd both for portable storage and as a backup device. I typically keep it connected to my desktop for automatic backups. Its small size means it takes up very little space on my desk. When I need to bring files with me, I put on the rubber protective cover (the inclusion of which is a very nice touch) and put it in my laptop bag. It is so much smaller and lighter than my old external hard drive that it is much more convenient for traveling. In fact, it is small enough that I could even keep it in my pocket. File transfers are quick when attached to the USB 3.0 ports on my computer (although it also supports USB 3.2).

Well worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is perfect. My son recently saved up for a smaller memory Xbox one. This storage thing came just in time. It has plenty of storage but the only thing that I do no like is the hook up port on it is a type c port. I have to go out a purchase a cord to turn it is a usb for his system but for a laptop this would work perfect.

Compact and high speed

It comes with a rubber sleeve for added protection and a USB-C cable. I use it with both my phone and PC. Photos and videos are not an issue, transfer is quick. Now I only wish I had purchased more space which I will do in the future. I would definitely recommend

Fast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always concerned about keeping all my photos, music, and more in a safe place. I have some in the cloud but I have privacy concerns. This is why I wanted this product. I was able to back up a ton of photos and music in a short time and I have lots of space. I had to purchase an adaptor for the USB of my laptop.

So convenient!

I used my portable SSD with my Windows 10 laptop and experienced no issues. Also, transferring my files was super quick and easy to access afterward. There is also a removable sleeve that helps give a different look and feel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kingston XS2000 portable SSD is outstanding, it is exactly what I was looking for. It is compact and it's speed is unbelievably fast. I have the 500GB that has speeds of up to 2000 MBps and i love that it is small and the rubber sleeve protects it against water and dust, it is shockproof and has a five year warranty.
