[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blades don't need to be washed every time.. They don't need to be lubed at all. Mine stopped working after a year or so. They sent me another one quickly and I sent the broken one back. you really have to be careful with these sharp blades when shaving in general and especiallly when shaving private parts. You may want to research for another model. Phillips has always been a great company and they're going the extra distance with their consumer help. I've learned how to use it without cutting myself or hurting myself. I appreciate the efforts of the company to put to honor it's warranty. You should clean under the blade or whatever attachment you have on there. Take off it's just a pull and it's off. Blow out the dust hair. That's about all I know about maintaining the razor. It comes with instructions. I'd recommend it within the facts I discussed. It's great for when my beard gets a little too heavy and full to just shave. You use this first. Then shave. I don't believe you'll be dissapointed. Lots of attachments with a bag to hold them.

Blades are very sharp, so be carful and don’t cut yourself. Very powerful motor, quite, sleek design and cut hair evenly. I think this product will not disappoint anyone.
