[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a few of these sorts of self-groom product sets from various manufacturers over the years (probably everybody has), and the reason they all go in the trash usually has nothing to do with their effectiveness, or whether or not I like them, but because they fall apart. The Multigroom 7000 is not going to fall apart. Built like a tank, hefty in the hand, and with quality (perhaps even too many— I can't imagine dealing with the crazy kit that comes with the 9000) attachments that aren't going to snap or crumble after a few months use. The motor at the heart of the handle buzzes powerfully but quietly and is reassuringly well-lubed with lithium grease. This is not going to get clogged with hair or rust from being run under the tap.

Best trimmer I’ve owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only charged this one time since I got it for Father’s Day. I have a full beard and don’t use it constantly, but with some regularity. It stays sharp and the guards help me reach the perfect length. Awesome awesome product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product is solid. Blades are exquisitely sharp. Very quiet. Attachments are easy to install. Still figuring out how best to use the attachments. Bad experience with the contour groomer around the ears.

Well designed but lacks features of predecessor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had a Norelco trimmer for years, and got this on the recommendation of Wirecutter. Overall I like it, but miss 2 features of the old one: the beard trimmer attachments only offer 4 lengths, all of them too short for my taste (my old one had 9 lengths). Also, the old one had a vacuum to catch the trimmings.
